Register: When registration is complete, the site returns you to this location to allow you to request a badge and/or computer account for the XID. Request Account: The account does not allow the non-TIer to log onto the TI network from a workstation, use Notes/Domino, e-mail, SAP, Unix servers, or other local or departmental applications. XID: Do not request IDs beginning with: XAL, XEK, XF, XHT, XKO, XL, XM, XPS, XTAI, XTC, XTEC, XTH, XTS, XU, or X99. These are unique identifiers for reserved XID accounts. For contract employees with XIDs generated by the CLARITY system, enter xf plus the assigned CLARITY number. <eg. xf123456 (numeric characters) not xfabcdef (alpha characters)> XID: Do not request IDs beginning with: XAL, XEK, XF, XHT, XKO, XL, XM, XPS, XTAI, XTC, XTEC, XTH, XTS, XU, or X99. These are unique identifiers for reserved XID accounts. XID First Name: Note: Do not include a comma (,) in the name. XID Last Name: Note: Do not include a comma (,) in the name. Contracting Primary The primary sponsor is the TI sponsor who works most closely with the non-TIer and is responsible for requesting resources for the non-TIer and for general XID account maintenance. When the non-TIer is no longer in the service of TI, the primary sponsor's should remove resources as soon as is reasonably possible. Back-up The back-up sponsor is the TI sponsor who acts in the absence of the primary sponsor. The back-up sponsor has the same authorization and responsibilities as the primary sponsor to request or remove access for a Non-TIer. TI Project The TI project lead can be the sponsor or back-up sponsor or someone else entirely. Division: You must use a valid TI division number. Cost Center: You must use a valid cost center within the specified division. TI site code: You must use a valid TI site code as listed in the Directory Services database. To look up site codes, use the "List of site codes" link. Supplemental: A non-supplemental contract employee provides short-term services and is not hired in addition to the existing work force for his/her skills or resources on a non-regular basis. Badge start date: Valid dates are any date beginning with the current date up to the current date plus 30 days. Badge end date: The end date can be set to any date up to the badge start date plus two years. Computer account Maximum number of days cannot exceed 180 (6 months ). To make access available past 180 days, you must renew the computer account.
XID:
Type the non-TIer's XID. The XID must be eight characters long and begin with the letter "x", e.g., x0000012. |
